EHSAN JOARDER

a passionate advocate for positive change and a proud Floridian running to represent Florida’s 14th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

About Me:

Background:

I was raised in Florida after my parents immigrated from Bangladesh. Growing up, I discovered my love for boxing at the Boca Police Athletic League (PAL) program. Through dedication and hard work, I became a state champion, honing not only my athletic skills but also instilling values of discipline and perseverance that guide me to this day.

Community Involvement:

Inspired by the impact of the Boca PAL program, I later volunteered as a sponsor, giving back to the community that played a pivotal role in shaping my character. Witnessing the positive influence sports and mentorship can have on young lives fueled my commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation.

Professional Journey:

As a young entrepreneur, I’ve navigated the business world with the same determination I brought to the boxing ring. My experiences have fueled my belief in the power of innovative solutions and community-driven initiatives to address the challenges we face.

Why I'm Running:

I am running for Congress because I am tired of century-old politicians making decisions that compromise our future. I believe in putting America first, advocating for a balanced budget, supporting term limits, and preserving the American Dream for generations to come.

Values:

My values are rooted in family, community, and a deep love for our great nation. I bring a unique perspective as someone who has experienced the American Dream firsthand and is committed to ensuring it remains attainable for all.

Community, Innovation, and Opportunity:

My vision for Florida’s 14th District includes a focus on community-driven solutions, innovative projects that create jobs, and opportunities that uplift all residents. From investing in education and renewable energy to championing responsible budgeting, my goal is to represent the diverse needs of our district.

Boxing, Sponsorship, and Beyond:

Boxing taught me the importance of resilience, and my experience as a state champion paved the way for a lifelong commitment to giving back. Sponsoring the Boca PAL program allowed me to contribute to the development of young athletes, fostering a sense of discipline and camaraderie.

Characteristics or principles

Integrity and Morality

Upholding the highest standards of integrity and morality is non-negotiable for any elected official. It involves conducting oneself with honesty, transparency, and a commitment to ethical decision-making. I firmly believe that elected officials should be beacons of integrity, setting an example for the community they serve.

Patriotism and Civic Duty

A deep sense of patriotism and a strong commitment to civic duty are essential for effective representation. Elected officials must prioritize the interests and well-being of their constituents above personal or political gain. This dedication to the greater good forms the foundation of responsible and accountable governance.

Loyalty to Constituents

Loyalty to constituents is a core principle that defines the essence of public service. Elected officials should be unwaveringly dedicated to representing the interests, concerns, and aspirations of the people who entrust them with their vote. By actively listening to constituents and prioritizing their needs, elected officials can build a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.

Accessible and Responsive Leadership

Accessibility is key to effective leadership. Elected officials should be approachable, responsive, and available to their constituents. Open lines of communication, town hall meetings, and engagement with the community contribute to a representative who is in tune with the pulse of their district.

Commitment to Collaboration

The ability to collaborate across party lines and work towards bipartisan solutions is crucial for navigating the complexities of governance. Elected officials should prioritize the common good over partisan divides, seeking common ground to address the challenges facing their community and the nation.

Informed Decision-Making

Elected officials must possess a thorough understanding of the issues at hand and be committed to informed decision-making. This involves staying well-informed on policy matters, seeking expert advice when needed, and making decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of the potential impacts on constituents.

Adaptability and Innovation

The ability to adapt to evolving circumstances and embrace innovative solutions is essential for effective governance. Elected officials should be forward-thinking, responsive to change, and willing to explore new approaches that benefit their constituents.
